Over the years I've written about 3,000 big band scores, some in the old days for Geraldo, Oscar Rabin, Vic Lewis, The Squadronaires and Jack Parnell, but mostly for all the big German radio bands and Peter Herbolzheimer's Rhythm Combination & Brass. Working also in small bands playing jazz, dance music and some Dixieland I've devised a method of scoring that makes the small group sound like a big band. It's true! The scores are all for a nine-piece group consisting of trumpet, alto, tenor and baritone saxes, trombone, keyboards, bass, drums and vocalist. The vocal scores can be provided for male or girl vocalists in different keys if requested.
